SYDNEY/AUSTRALIA, June 1 2023 – Toshiba International Corporation Pty Ltd (TIC), and its USA- based affiliate EtaPRO® LLC (EtaPRO®), have successfully commissioned the thermal digital twins for AGL Energy Limited’s (AGL) Bayswater and Loy Yang A Power Stations.

 

The thermal digital twins are first principle thermodynamic models of the power plant cycles built using EtaPRO© VirtualPlant^TM. The real-time benchmarking and rapid parametric study capabilities of EtaPRO© enable Asset Owners to understand and forecast how operating, maintenance and investment decisions can optimise unit performance, efficiency, process stability, combustion and emissions in the changing generation market.
